Last week, we carried out a demonstration and training session of the ISK FIRE SURVIVAL system at the GEPIF facilities, in collaboration with the Emergency School of Catalonia and our distributor Sipe Protection SL.
The purpose of the session was to give emergency teams first-hand insight into how this self-protection and survival system works, designed for critical wildfire entrapment situations.
ISK FIRE SURVIVAL is an integrated system that combines specialized equipment with a safety procedure to create a protected zone when extreme conditions make evacuation impossible.
Its main function is to reduce exposure to extreme heat, toxic gases, and radiation, significantly increasing the probability of survival during entrapment scenarios.
The system consists of three main components:
FS1: Nozzle (Patent P201301149)
Creates a protective dome of mist and foam, with cooling capacity tested at 900 ºC, keeping interior temperatures near 26 ºC even under critical conditions.
FS2: Collective Shelter (Patent P201400826)
A shelter for 2 to 6 people, featuring clean breathable air, CO₂ detection, interior lighting, and a window for monitoring fire progression.
Integration with the emergency vehicle, protecting the tires, cab, and structure for more than 20 minutes.

The session allowed teams to evaluate how this system can be incorporated into their self-protection protocols during wildfire entrapment situations.
